Enjoy a weekend of pampering Mom with the family. Join us Saturday at noon for finger sandwiches and Lemonade. Dads and kids can enjoy making a craft together on Saturday for Mother’s Day. Saturday evening come and dance with Mom at our Mother’s Day Dance. Book your stay early, space is limited.
LGE Cornhole Competition.
May 17 – 19
Come and compete in the 1st Annual Spring Cornhole Competition. We have competition for the kids on Saturday at 11am and adults will begin at 2pm. Ribbons and bragging rights will be awarded. Learn to make your own Corn Hole Set. Not feeling the whole cornhole thing, that’s ok we got you covered with a weekend of family movies and games.
Memorial Day Weekend.
May 24 – 27
Bring your campsite to life and participate in our site decoration contest. Trophies will be awarded in several categories. Sites will be judged on Patriotism, Creativity, Unique use of materials and more. Kids will love our 7th Annual Bike decorating and parade. We’ve got the supplies send the kiddos with their bikes and be ready to have fun at our music filled parade around the campground. We have many events planned throughout the weekend! Sunday will feature a family movie on the ball field using our 19’ projection screen, Laser Tag all day Sunday (free with coupon-while they last and weather permitting). We will honor all those who served our great country with a Memorial Day Veterans Service. Learn how to fold our American Flag and the history behind it. Don’t forget the scavenger hunts!!
80’s Throwback Weekend.
June 1 – 3
Put your Smart phone away & take a trip with us back to the 80’s. Our bodacious weekend will feature: timed rubik cube challenges, 80’s trivia contests, Our DJ Glow Dance party on Saturday will be dancing to all your 80s favorite tunes. Don’t miss this totally Rad Weekend!
June 7 – 9
Welcome Americaders! Take advantage of our special biker deals and stay all week with us during bike week. We offer a complimentary guest shuttle to our campers with daily shuttle service on Saturday and Sunday to downtown Lake George, so don’t worry about the parking leave the driving to us! If you brought your bike come and end the weekend on Sunday Morning with a Bike Show around The Main Lodge. Prizes will be awarded to participants. Don’t miss out on the games & crafts this weekend as well.
Dad’s Day Off.
June 14 – 16
Bring the Family and celebrate the whole weekend with “The Big Guy.” Make a gift and card for dad on Saturday at our Rec Hall. Dad’s Eat Free at the Restaurant with the purchase of an adult meal! (see coupon for details) Our Annual ‘Donuts with Dad’ on Sunday Morning is always a great time. Play Lazer Tag and Mini Golf with Dad on Sunday. (Free with coupon-while they last and weather permitting). Did I mention the Master-Grilling Competition for Dads on Saturday? Only some of the fun stuff planned at Lake George Escape, where family memories are made.

June 21 & 22
Come to The Adirondack Mountains, It’s all about the great outdoors this weekend at Lake George Escape. Join a nature hike and learn about plants and animals native to the Adirondacks. Learn hiking safety tips, how to make and properly put out a campfire and how to set up a campsite are only a few of the fun activities planned this weekend. Save some energy and start thinking about what you will make for our crock pot cooking competition on Saturday. Call or email us for a list of must have items in your concoction.
Our Camps Got Talent Week!
June 23 – 29
Entertain Honey Bear during this week long celebration of her birthday and see the talents of your fellow campers! Saturday we will have Honey Bear’s birthday party under the Big Top Tent. You won’t want to miss the cotton candy, birthday cake and games! You never know who will show up for her birthday blast. We are really spotlighting the talent of our campers this first full week at camp. So be ready to show off your talents- singing, lip sync competition and family air bands are a few opportunities to be in the spotlight. Don’t forget checking out our nightly disc jockeys playing all your favorite hits.

June 30 – July 6
Come and celebrate America’s Independence Day with us! Family Field Games, tug o war, 3 legged race, and water balloon toss are just a few of the great activities we have planned during our week long bash. Regular & Candy Bar Bingo, and group sing-a-long on The 4th of July. Join fellow campers at an ice cream social in our big top tent to cool off from the heat! Weather permitting we will have laser tag, pedal carts, boat rentals & tubing trips down the Schroon River available for purchase through The Honey Bear Store. Don’t miss out on the fun! Games, Games & More Games. The Not so Newlywed Game (adults only, please), Fort Nite Tournament (Teens only, please), Family Wheel of Fortune, Family Let’s Make a Deal, Family Feud and Deal or No Deal are some of the games you’ll find this week at Lake George Escape. Name that Tune with our djs nightly, peddle cart races, and so much more! If you like games, then Come On Down!
Western Round up Week
July 14 – 20
Partners for a rootin’ tootin’ good time get to camp this week. We will have Gold Rush Activity at our Gem Mine Fun activities and games for cowboys and cowgirls alike. Our wagon ride is going to be carrying Miss Kitty’s Loot, she is a nice lady so we need help her protect it from bandits! The kids become a Sheriff by interacting with the Wagon driver and helping him find clues of who the bandits are and where they went? Hopefully we can save the day for Miss Kitty by finding her money bag and capturing those rascals.

It’s Christmas in July all week long at camp! Site and tree decorating contests, caroling around the park, and Scavenger Hunts are just a sampling of what to expect as we go all out during the happiest time of the year! Santa is coming to have some fun and enjoy some sun with us at Lake George Escape. The Jolly ol’ fellow himself will be at The Big Top Saturday Afternoon where he will be waiting to see all the good little girls and boys. Throw in an Ice cream social and we’ve got a PARTY! Great Photo Opportunity! Christmas wouldn’t be complete without a holiday cookie decorating party in our rec hall Wednesday and Saturday. Don’t miss our holiday cookie swap Saturday and Paint Party at 4pm. (ticket for paint party is available for purchase at Our Main Lodge) You can make your Letter to Santa and put it in his special delivery mailbox every morning throughout the week! Make a frame for a holiday family picture and make a Christmas ornament both will be available daily throughout the week as well. Let’s not forget The Reindeer Games. Christmas song contest both days of Karaoke with our DJs, Sing for Prizes.
Halloween Spooktacular Week
July 28 – Aug 3
Bring your costumes, decorations and don’t forget the kids for this wacky week. A Costume contests with DJs Daily and Monster Mash Dance Party Saturday Night for all ages with prizes to be awarded, Learn a Halloween dance, Saturday trick or treating for the kids, Site Decorating contests and much more. Don’t miss The Freakling Bros. Haunted Carnival of Chaos in our Big Top Saturday night followed by apple cider and donuts, for those that can make it through, if you dare! Decorate a trick or treat bag Saturday AM in the Rec Hall and a not so scary Halloween party with games for the little ones, Saturday afternoon will be trick or treating and spooky wagon rides are just the beginning for this week. You never know who you are going to see, last year we had Elvis sightings at Lake George Escape.
Zombie Fest (Halloween 2)
Aug 4 – 10
The only thing better than celebrating a whole week of Halloween, is celebrating 2 whole weeks of Halloween!! Zombies and Ghouls..Oh My! Zombie parade with glow sticks, Calling all Zombies!! Join us on the Sports Field to break the Guinness’s World Book of Records for most Zombies gathered in The Adirondack Mountains. Dracula may even make an appearance. Costume contests with DJs Daily and Zombie Dance Party Saturday Night with prizes. You can learn a Halloween dance or join the Zombie Golf Cart Parade. Saturday afternoon there will be trick or treating and a Site Decorating contest. The Adirondack Zombie Apocalypse in the Big Top Saturday night followed by drink and snack is sure to be fun. Decorate a trick or treat bag Saturday in our recreation hall and a not so scary Halloween party with games for the little ones.
Survivor Games 3: The Camping Edition Week
Aug 11 – 17
Calling all families! This will be a fun filled week with food, physical, & mental Family Challenges. Families will create a family flag to hang at their site and bring to events! Creating an Immunity Idol as a family to bring to Tribal Council on Thursday night will be fun. Join us at our nightly Tribal Council where a new family challenge will be given. We have night challenges at the pub and day challenges throughout the entire week. Finals will be on Saturday and Sunday. Your Adventure awaits at Camp! Will your family be named number 1 in Lake George Escape’s 2019 Family Survivor Week?
Pirates Week Ahoy!
Aug 18 – 24
Ahoy Matey! Captain Pikaroon is looking for a few good families to help sail the Schroon River aboard his ship The Royal Fortune. It’ll be a swashbuckling good time as your family must get clues from the Captain’s Crew to solve a puzzle and help Captain Pikaroon find his buried treasure. But be careful, whoever took the Captain’s loot surely won’t want you to find it and expose them cause that will mean “Walking the Plank” for those involved for sure! Bring you pirate costume for our Saturday Pirate Party with our DJ, Learn pirate words and what your pirate name is. Join us Me Hearties, if you don’t wanna end up in Davy Jones’ Locker!
Labor Day County Fair & Carnival Week
Aug 25 – Sept 2
On Saturday we will have our Ol’ Fashioned County Fair and Carnival. There will be plenty of games, activities and fun for all ages. Enter your best craft made here at camp. You can also enter your best Pie or Cake. From Decorating apples to our Dunking Booth join us as we say goodbye to summer and the kids get ready to go back to school.
Hawaiian Luau Weekend
Sept 6 – 8
Aloha from Lake George Escape. This weekend you can learn how to hula. Learn to make Hawaiian Leis or join in a Hula Hoop competition. Grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts are a must for this weekend of fun for all ages! DJ Friday and Saturday nite.
Animal Lovers Weekend
Sept 13 – 15
Calling all animal lovers! This is the purr-fect weekend to join us. We will be having a pet show, a pet parade and costume party for our four legged friends. We have a beautiful fenced in pet park, to play and meet new friends. Kids are going to make pine cone bird feeders to have at camp or take home. Also learn how to make homemade dog treats. You and your pet will have a howling good time. (Please call in advance to be sure you pet can join us). Don’t forget we must have a copy of all animal’s shot records!
Balloon Festival Weekend
Sept 20 – 22
Hot Air Balloons will be in the air throughout the region all weekend long. You can catch evening lift offs or sunrise lift offs just a few miles away. There’s nothing like our Fall weekend wagon rides around the park, it’s a great chance not only to see the park but also to see the fall foliage of The Adirondack Park. Kids will be making a beautiful hot air balloon craft to take home and other games and crafts.
Food + Wine Lovers Weekend
Sept 27 – 29
We have a local Winery coming in for us to learn a little more about wine and sample different types. You will learn about pairing wine with food. Our local chef will come in for a basic cooking class. Sampling and learning about different deserts will be fun too. A blind food tasting as well. So come hungry and share with us some of your kitchen secrets and we will too. And of course you will have the opportunity to buy some authentic Adirondack made wine to take home and share. (Must be at least 21 years old for any alcohol)
Oct 4 – 6
Tailgate party on Saturday afternoon in the parking lot as we watch a football game. Play a game of flag football with fellow campers Saturday too. Create your own team mascot, Saturday at noon in the Rec Hall. Share some recipes as we host a crock pot cook off and warm up those grills to make some great tailgate party food for fellow campers to sample.
First Annual Harvest Festival
Oct 11 – 14
As we say goodbye to another fun season Honey Bear is getting ready for hibernation. Scarecrow building Competition, Pumpkin chucking Contest, Making & Decorating Carmel Apples are just a few of the fun activities planned. DJ Friday, Saturday and Sunday Night. Celebrating Columbus Day and Thanksgiving for our Canadian Friends. Discounted items in our store, at the restaurant and the bar. Join us Saturday or Sunday afternoon (depending on the weather) for an afternoon wagon ride to see the beautiful leaves changing colors.
